America: Land of the Free Trade?

This is from a research paper I wrote for my composition class last spring. I used my economic education and passion for liberty and pure capitalism to try and persuade my college professor. Suffice it to say, I received an A on the paper and received the respect of my professor for standing up for what I believe in so blatantly while in the midst of, typically, one of the most socialist-leaning factions in America: college students. I feel that this paper does an adequate job of laying the groundwork for a comprehensive argument in favor of unrestricted trade, and I felt that it needed sharing.
